Please do not take these ingredient breakdown posts as medical advice. I am simply here to explain to you what I know about my products and ingredients. I do my best to research all the topics we're talking about, but sometimes I'm wrong! Clock me (nicely).

Guys, we're really on a Persephone kick this week (hint, hint)!

We're going to be talking to you about a cool ingredient of ours. You've had it in gum, you've had it in mouthwash, but did you know there's peppermint oil in our Ambrosia Lip Polish INTENSE formula?!

That's right! Your favorite plumper has peppermint oil in it to keep your lips plump and cool.

What does this little herb do, though? Well, we're SO glad you asked! You totally asked.

As expected, peppermint oil will create this really soothing effect on the skin. It has a lot of healing properties, so if you have a cut or a burn, then you have nothing to worry about when it comes to using peppermint oil. Don't put it on a fresh wound, but if you give it a few days, you'll have a really nice oil to help heal what's wrong!

If you have uncomfortably sensitive skin, mix a little in with your moisturizer to soothe the skin. My eczema girlies, that one is for you!

In our Ambrosia Lip Polish, we use it almost like a fire and ice technique. We have cayenne oil in our product, so that rushes blood up to your lips and makes your lips super tingly and hot. To counter act that, but still allow for a strong, but comfortable plump, we actually add peppermint oil.

This peppermint oil will not only soothe the heat from the cayenne pepper, but it will also allow you to heal any cuts from dryness and cracking that you may have!
